Your move is calculated based on the actual time our crew works with you—covering packing, loading, driving between your locations, unloading, and getting everything set up just where you want it (subject to a standard minimum time requirement and administrative setup fee). Return travel to our shop is billed only if it exceeds standard drive times, as are any unexpected traffic or weather delays.
To hold your moving date, we just need a signed agreement and a deposit. If you need to adjust or cancel your move, please give us at least 72 hours' notice so we can adjust our schedule; changes made within that 72-hour window will result in deposit forfeiture. To help us keep your belongings safe and secure during transit, please make sure all containers are fully closed, taped, and sealed, and that lamps are disassembled before our crew arrives.
Please keep in mind that our liability coverage cannot extend to self-packed contents, loose or unpacked items, pre-existing damages, or particleboard furniture.e to charge for it later. This is why it's important to disclose everything during your call so we can be accurate in your quote.
To make sure we bring the right equipment and crew size for your home, additional fees or hourly adjustments apply for specialized logistics. This includes handling oversized items (over 200 lbs or 6 feet long), pianos, balcony hoisting, long carry distances, steep inclines, excessive stairs, severe weather, unpaved or high-clearance roads, single-use packing supplies retained, and unprepared or misdescribed moves. If you'd like us to take items to a local donation center or disposal site, we’re happy to help—that time is billed at our standard rate plus any third-party dump or facility fees.
To help your move run smoothly, safely, and efficiently, please prepare the following before our crew arrives:
